The Hub connects to the internet primarily via a wired Ethernet (LAN) connection, using a cellular network as a fail-safe backup (via a 2G Micro SIM slot). This ensures the system remains fully operational even if your landline internet is cut. Communication with wireless devices is powered by the military-grade encrypted Jeweller protocol, reaching impressive distances of up to 2,000 meters.

Capacity and Smart Automations

The entry-level Ajax Hub reliably manages up to 100 wireless devices and supports the integration of up to 10 IP cameras. By leveraging smart automation scenarios, you can program the system to turn on perimeter lighting when an alarm is triggered, disable specific power sockets when arming the house, or shut off water valves instantly if a leak is detected.
