FIBARO Smart Implant – Make Your Regular Devices SMART

This tiny device has the power to turn your standard 'dumb' appliances and electronics into fully-fledged smart devices. It is a unique Z-Wave product that perfectly combines potential-free outputs with analog and digital inputs on a single board. As a result, it can transmit data from connected sensors directly to your smart hub while simultaneously and independently controlling other connected circuits.

Incredible Versatility

The FIBARO Smart Implant was designed based on the needs of professional installers as the direct successor to the Universal Binary Sensor. Its applications are virtually limitless:

• Garage Door Control: Connect the Smart Implant to the wall-switch terminals of your garage door motor. You will instantly be able to open it from your smartphone. By adding a simple magnetic reed switch to the Implant, your app will accurately display whether the door is open or closed.
• Security Systems (Alarms): Wire the Implant into your existing traditional wired alarm panel. You can forward motion sensor triggers into your Smart Home system without disrupting the alarm's original safety functions. You can even arm/disarm the alarm remotely.
• Smart Heating: Turn a classic 'click' room thermostat into a smart one. By placing the Implant in the circuit between your boiler and the thermostat, you can remotely cut off the heating when you leave the house.
• Retro Electronics: Place the Implant inside an older amplifier, Hi-Fi system, or coffee machine, bridge their physical buttons, and gain the ability to control them over your Z-Wave network.

Support for Temperature and Humidity Sensors

The Smart Implant is more than just a relay; it's a communication interface. You can connect up to six digital temperature sensors (DS18B20) or one temperature and humidity sensor (DHT-22). It also reads data from any two analog (0-10V) sensors, allowing you to measure wind speed, precipitation levels, or soil moisture in your garden.
