What is Smart Home ?

Simplify your daily routines, make your living space more comfortable, save energy and money, protect your loved ones, and keep your life perfectly under control.

Modern technology in the field ofhome automation has been paving its way in Slovakia for a long time. This involves the innovative Z-Wave technology, which enables stable wireless communication between devices in your home. Modernizing your home has never been this easy and affordable.

Main benefits of Z-Wave technology:

  • ✔️ Clean installation: No drilling or pulling cables. You simply place the module or sensor exactly where you need it (without any construction adjustments). If you change your mind, you can easily move them elsewhere.
  • ✔️ Affordable price: Favorable pricing of individual modules, while saving hundreds of euros on unnecessary and complex wiring.
  • ✔️ Expandability: You can start with just lighting and later add multimedia, heating, or irrigation. Devices from hundreds of different global manufacturers that support Z-Wave are fully compatible with each other.
  • ✔️ Reliable Mesh network: Every mains-powered module also acts as a receiver and transmitter. The signal always finds its way to the control unit and doesn't lose strength, unlike long cables.
  • ✔️ Huge selection: There are thousands of compatible modules on the market today, and new ones are constantly being added – from thermostats to automatic pet feeders.

HomeSystem provides complete solutions and products based on Z-Wave technology in Slovakia. After examining the global market, we chose proven products from FIBARO/NICE as a solid foundation, as well as the Homey PRO solution, which we complement with top-tier devices from other brands (e.g., Shelly, Remotec, Sonoff, Nous, and more).

What can you control? The limits are only in your imagination...

💡 Lights and RGBW backlighting

Dim, turn off, and turn on lights via smartphone, tablet, or PC, whether you are at home or on the go. Create a pleasant atmosphere, save energy, and deter burglars. Lights can turn off automatically when you leave the house, dim to 30% when watching a movie, or softly illuminate your nighttime path to the bathroom. Meanwhile, your classic wall switches remain fully functional.

🌡️ Heating and air conditioning

Set the ideal temperature remotely. Heating or AC automatically turns off when a window is opened or when no one is in the room. Heat up your home before returning from work and keep your energy bills fully under control – this also applies to your office, restaurant, or clinic.

💦 Smart irrigation

Control your watering remotely or leave it to automation. The system works intelligently: if it's supposed to rain, the irrigation is postponed or skipped completely for the day, thereby not wasting water and preventing overwatering of your garden.

🎵 Multimedia and automatic scenes

Forget about searching for the right remote. Combine everything into smart "scenes". For example, with a Good Morning scene, the blinds automatically roll up, soft music starts playing, the coffee maker turns on, and the TV switches to the morning news.

🔌 Electrical appliances

Left the house and forgot to turn off your hair straightener? Turn it off remotely with one click, or let the house automatically disconnect all high-risk appliances when you leave. Keep track of current and historical device consumption, and in the event of an impending short circuit, let the system safely disconnect the appliance immediately.

🛡️ Safety first

Be instantly informed about the smallest water leak under the washing machine, the presence of smoke, or motion in your house while you are away. In case of a fire, the system can automatically open windows and the garage door for a quick escape and firefighter access, while sending you a notification with a camera snapshot upon unexpected intrusion. Guard your home, children, and property from anywhere.

How does it work and what will you need?

The entire system is managed by a home center (the brain), which receives information from sensors (detects motion, water leak, temperature drop). It then evaluates the situation and issues an immediate command to the modules to perform the necessary action (turn on the light, shut off the water supply, trigger the alarm). However, you can also issue commands at any time via your phone or computer.

Basic equipment of a smart home:

  • Home center: Control unit (for example, the modern Fibaro Home Center 3 or Yubii Home).
  • Sensors: Motion, temperature, flood, smoke, humidity, door, and window sensors.
  • Modules (Actuators): Dimmers, on/off switches, roller shutter and gate controllers, smart plugs, or thermostatic radiator valves.
