💧 Shelly Flood S Gen4 - Water Leak Protection

Shelly Flood S Gen4 is a compact smart sensor designed to alert you early to water leaks, high humidity, condensation, or rain. Featuring a large surface with a triple stainless-steel probe, it reliably detects water even in tight spaces – ideal under dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, boilers, AC units, sinks, or in utility rooms.

With an IP67 protection rating, this sensor is particularly useful where compact size, direct floor placement, and quick alerts are critical. It is perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, boiler rooms, server rooms, vacation homes, utility rooms, and hard-to-reach areas. The sensor operates on a single CR123A battery (included), offering a battery life of up to approximately 2 years depending on usage, network conditions, and the selected alarm profile. No wiring is required.

The device supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE, and Zigbee 3.0 protocols, and is also Matter-over-Wi-Fi compatible, allowing flexible integration into almost any smart home ecosystem. It works with the Shelly Smart Control app, Shelly Cloud, Home Assistant, SmartThings, and Matter-compatible platforms.

Shelly Flood S Gen4 features two operating modes: Flood detection mode for water leaks and flood alerts, and Rain detection mode for sensing rain. In Rain mode, the device reports status changes without triggering the alarm, making it ideal for outdoor automation such as stopping irrigation, retracting awnings, or closing skylights.

A built-in speaker ensures immediate local audible alarms upon water detection, while three customizable alarm profiles — Intense, Normal, and Eco — allow you to adapt operation to any location. Intense mode is suitable for high-value equipment, laboratories, and server rooms; Normal mode is ideal for standard home use; and Eco mode is practical for cabins, vacation homes, and rarely visited properties.
