The Shelly Auxiliary sensing cable is a specialized add-on that radically expands the protective radius of your Shelly Flood Gen4 leak detector. It provides continuous area protection instead of single-point spot checking.

Full-Length Moisture Detection

Engineered from highly conductive materials, the cable detects moisture anywhere along its entire length. You can lay it along long basement walls, stretch it behind kitchen cabinets, snake it under washing machines and dishwashers, or wrap it around vulnerable plumbing and water heaters. If water touches the cable at any point, it instantly alerts the Shelly Flood Gen4 main unit, which can then trigger an emergency smart home scene (like shutting an electronic main water valve).

Easily Extendable up to 150 Meters

One base cable is 2 meters long. However, the system is fully modular. If you need to protect massive commercial spaces or server rooms, the cables have built-in connectors on the ends. By daisy-chaining multiple segments together, you can create a continuous protective leak-detection web up to a staggering 150 meters long. The system is entirely passive; no additional batteries are needed to power the extra cable length. You simply plug it into the dedicated port on the Shelly Flood body.
