MOES WDB-TY-B20 (also listed as WDBTYB20, full code WDB-TY-B20-EU-EN) is a Wi-Fi video doorbell that replaces an ordinary doorbell and adds a camera, microphone and speaker. When someone rings, you see them on your phone in Full HD 1080p, you can talk to them straight away and at the same time the wireless 433 MHz indoor chime rings inside your home.

The whole device runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so you need no electrician and no new cables. Two screws, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and the app on your phone are all it takes. Thanks to its IP65 rating it handles rain and dust at your front door all year round.

See who is at the door, from anywhere

The 1080p camera with a wide 140° field of view covers the whole area in front of the entrance, including the steps or the doormat where couriers like to leave parcels. When someone rings, you get a video call notification on your phone and the smart doorbell lets you talk to the visitor in real time. Two-way audio works without annoying echo, so you can calmly tell the courier where to leave the parcel even while you are at work.

If you cannot take the call, the visitor can leave you a message that you can view later in the app. If you have an Amazon Echo Show display at home, you can also watch the door feed on it and talk to the visitor via the Alexa control panel (display not included).

PIR motion sensor and anti-theft protection

The built-in PIR motion sensor reacts when someone lingers at the door even without ringing. The device saves a snapshot, sends you a notification and, depending on your settings, starts recording video. In the app you can also set schedules and automations, for example so that detection only runs at night or when you are away. The tamper alarm warns you if someone tries to rip the camera doorbell off the wall.

Day and night, in rain and frost

The camera automatically switches between day mode and infrared night mode depending on the light, so you can recognise a visitor's face even after dark without a porch light. The wide 140° angle covers the whole entrance day and night.

The housing with IP65 protection is dustproof and rainproof, and the device is designed for outdoor use at the door of a house, flat or at a covered gate.

Battery for months and installation in minutes

The battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh lasts, depending on usage, 4 to 6 months on a single charge. Charging via USB takes 6 to 8 hours and the app warns you in advance when the battery is low. The box includes screws, wall plugs and a drilling template, so you can mount the wireless video doorbell even in a rented flat without chiselling into the wall. Plug the 433 MHz indoor chime into any ordinary 230 V socket in your home and you will hear it ring even when your phone is in another room.

Event recordings are saved to a microSD card (not included) or to an optional cloud service with a free trial. The video doorbell works in the Tuya platform app, just like our other Tuya Wi-Fi products, so you can expand it with more sensors and automations for the whole home.
