This is not your average two-piece magnetic contact sensor that requires frustrating millimeter-perfect alignment. The Aqara P100 Multi-State Sensor is a revolutionary, single-piece device that radically alters how you monitor your home. The core of this unit is an advanced 9-axis sensor array (accelerometer, gyroscope, and geomagnetic sensor).

Two Distinct Modes: Windows vs. Valuables
Through the Aqara app, you can configure the P100 to operate in two completely different monitoring modes:
- Open/Close Mode: Stick the sensor to standard swinging windows or doors (including tilt-and-turn). The moment the door swings, the gyroscope calculates the angle change and registers it as 'Open', eliminating the need for a secondary magnet. (Note: Not suitable for sliding or rolling doors).
- Object Monitoring Mode: Perfect for guarding safes, medicine cabinets, or outdoor mailboxes. In this mode, the device detects micro-vibrations, tilts, and physical drops in 3D space. (Note: This advanced analytic mode is only supported when paired via Zigbee to an Aqara Hub).
Dual Protocol (Thread and Matter Integration)
The P100 is engineered for the future. Out of the box, it supports traditional Zigbee networks (unlocking comprehensive historical data in the Aqara app) as well as the ultra-fast Thread mesh protocol. While operating on Thread, it can bridge natively into the Matter ecosystem, allowing flawless communication with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and SmartThings.
