Through the Aqara app, you can configure the P100 to operate in two completely different monitoring modes:

• Open/Close Mode: Stick the sensor to standard swinging windows or doors (including tilt-and-turn). The moment the door swings, the gyroscope calculates the angle change and registers it as 'Open', eliminating the need for a secondary magnet. (Note: Not suitable for sliding or rolling doors).

Out of the box, it supports traditional Zigbee networks (unlocking comprehensive historical data in the Aqara app) as well as the ultra-fast Thread mesh protocol.
