Aqara Hub M200 is your smart home control center, seamlessly connecting Matter, Thread, and Aqara Zigbee devices to all your favorite ecosystems. With an integrated Matter Controller, Thread Border Router, and advanced Matter bridging, it brings native Aqara experiences directly to your preferred platform, all with robust local control.

It features a built-in 360° infrared (IR) controller, allowing you to include IR remote-controlled devices – such as air conditioners, TVs, and amplifiers – into automations with status feedback and IR signal learning.

The 360° IR transmitter* sends commands and can detect when your existing remote control is used, ensuring accurate status updates. It can also connect IR-based air conditioners to the Matter system**, enabling thermostat-like functionality when used with an Aqara Climate sensor. For reliable operation, we recommend installing the hub near the AC unit.

*Note: The infrared frequency is 38 kHz.

*For the AC mode function, only one IR-controlled air conditioning unit can be bridged. For multiple air conditioning units, use the Advanced Matter Bridging feature.

Matter Controller

Manage a wide range of Matter devices directly through the Aqara Home app, supporting over 50 device types – all under unified control.

Thread Border Router and Network Extender

The M200 acts as a Thread border router, connecting this network to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network for seamless communication with smart speakers and hubs. It can also serve as a Thread network extender, expanding the coverage and reliability of your Thread network.

Hub and Matter Bridge for Aqara Zigbee Devices

The M200 functions as an Aqara Zigbee hub and Matter bridge. It connects Aqara Zigbee devices to major Matter ecosystems, including Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant.

Advanced Matter Bridging

Advanced Matter Bridging goes beyond standard connectivity, allowing unique Aqara features to function in third-party ecosystems. This way, you can fully utilize your favorite Aqara products regardless of which ecosystem you prefer.

The M200 provides dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) with advanced WPA3 security and flexible power options, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) and USB-C.

Built-in Speaker with Custom Audio Compatibility

The Aqara Hub M200 features a built-in speaker with a 90 dB volume that serves various purposes, including doorbell notifications, alarm functions, security alerts, and custom audio recordings that you can upload to the hub.

Flexible Mounting Options

The M200 can be placed directly on a flat surface or securely mounted to a wall or ceiling using a standard 6mm threaded mount.

Simple Yet Powerful Automations

Aqara automations, recently upgraded to Automations 2.0, use IF-THEN logic to create powerful and efficient automations. This allows you to combine multiple device conditions, situations, times, and states into a single automation.

Automations previously triggered between the cloud and hubs will transition to local automations, ensuring their functionality even during internet outages. Local automations are more robust, secure, and faster than cloud automations.

*Some automations, such as cloud push notifications, still require a cloud connection.
