Dual-Detection Technology (mmWave & PIR)

The device harnesses dual-detection arrays. A high-frequency 60 GHz mmWave radar scans the room with surgical precision, registering microscopic chest movements like breathing to confirm human presence even when you are sitting perfectly still. Working in tandem, the integrated PIR sensor rapidly captures gross motion to instantly trigger light scenes upon entry. This hybrid approach guarantees your lights will never mistakenly shut off while you are occupying a room.

Integrated Climate and Light Sensors

Moving beyond mere presence, the FP300 houses highly accurate ambient temperature, relative humidity, and illuminance (LUX) sensors. This allows for multi-conditional programming: instruct your smart hub to power the air conditioning only if presence is detected AND the temperature exceeds 28°C, or turn on the lamps only if motion is detected AND the room is naturally dark.

Dual Protocols: Zigbee and Thread

Engineered for the future, the sensor offers dual wireless protocol options. Switch into Thread mode to link directly into the Matter ecosystem via a Thread Border Router for native Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa support. Alternatively, utilize the Zigbee 3.0 protocol to gain access to exclusive granular calibration settings within the Aqara Home app.

Battery Powered & Flexible Mounting

Unlike earlier generation radar sensors, the FP300 does not require hardwiring. It operates efficiently on two replaceable CR2450 batteries, delivering between 2 to 3 years of continuous operation depending on the active protocol. The sensor features a fully articulating magnetic base, allowing you to easily mount it on ceilings, walls, or tucked into corners to maximize its 120° / 6-meter coverage zone.
