Aqara P2 is a battery-powered motion and light multi-sensor featuring the Thread protocol that natively supports the Matter standard. The AQARA P2 motion detector is an essential addition for creating a sense of security in your home. In addition to detecting motion state changes, it also features a light sensor that measures illuminance in LUX and displays the values in the app.
Similar to the motion sensor, you can create automations based on motion status changes as well as light level threshold triggers. The sensor operates on two CR2450 batteries included in the package by the manufacturer. With average use, the battery life lasts up to 2 years. A Matter Hub is required for the device to function. From the AQARA range, the AQARA Hub M3 gateway is the perfect choice.
Adjust the sensor's viewing angle as you wish. Featuring an extra-wide detection angle (170° up to 7 m), the versatile 360° adjustable base allows you to adjust the detection angle to detect motion only in desired areas. If an intrusion or motion is detected, it sends an instant notification.

It can be placed anywhere without tools. You can mount the accessory base anywhere by sticking it onto a horizontal or vertical surface.
