Thermoelectric actuators are simple devices used to open and close the water flow in underfloor heating systems, enabling automatic zone regulation.

The valves can be controlled by devices such as Z-Water or double relays from Fibaro or Aeotec. Which Z-Wave module you use for regulation usually depends on how many zones you want to control. For example, for one to five zones, it is most cost-effective to use double relays. For six to ten zones, the Z-Water module is more advantageous.

Of course, if you have, for example, more than 1 heating circuit in the living room, you must have this actuator installed on each circuit. However, you can combine all circuits into one zone and thus use only one output on the relay. This is a great way to reduce the cost of regulation.

The actuator itself is a small and simple device. It is suitable for manifolds with an M28x1.5 thread. The actuator is powered by 230V.

Installation is a matter of seconds, thanks to the "FIRST OPEN" feature. This is a small red stopper that holds the flow open. This makes installation easier. At the same time, if you do not yet have a regulation system set up, you can keep the zones partially open during installation.

The abbreviation NC on this device means that when the 230V/24V power supply is not switched on, the valve is closed and does not allow water to flow. For correct wiring, please check if this is the correct actuator type for the system in which you will be using it. If you plan to use it with systems like Fibaro, Zipato, Popp, Homey... then this is the right type.

This valve closes and opens within 2 minutes. The total stroke is 6mm, and its power consumption in the open state is only 2W. The valve also includes a "head" by which you can easily see whether the valve is open or closed.
