Product detailed description

The thermoelectric actuator is used in zoned control systems. It controls valves in radiators or manifolds for surface heating/cooling from various manufacturers, primarily AFRISO ProCalida MC, EF, and VA manifolds or IN industrial manifolds. The actuator converts the electrical signal received from thermostats into a valve stroke to control the set temperature via the flow volume. The valve is normally closed when unpowered (reducing energy consumption). The actuator features a position indicator, a connection cable, and a union nut for connection to the manifold valve. It can be installed in any position.

The actuator comes open from the factory (First Open function, hereafter FO), so actuators installed on the manifold remain open during initial commissioning. This facilitates the assembly, filling, and flushing of the system since the control system is usually not yet functional at this point. The FO function is automatically deactivated (Auto Spin function) as soon as the actuator is electrically connected and fully closed. The FO function can also be manually deactivated by turning the top wheel 90° to the left, which sets the actuator to automatic mode.

For maintenance, the factory setting of the actuator can be restored manually using the top wheel, without the need for power (Re-Open function). The compact design allows for installation in manifolds with a circuit spacing of 40 mm and above (the housing diameter is only 39 mm).
