The Shelly push-button wall switch brings entirely new hardware installation possibilities to your Smart Home system. If you know how frustrating it can be to find the right momentary switches, and how challenging it is to cram a smart module into a shallow wall box behind the switch, you will definitely appreciate this specialized series directly from Shelly. The switches are available in a sleek Black finish as 1-button, 2-button, and 4-button models. Naturally, modular design frames are also available for holding one, two, or up to three switch mechanisms side by side. This allows you to build the exact switch configuration your room layout requires.

How to Build Your Switch Setup:

1. Select the Shelly switches (mechanisms) you need for the specific wall (1, 2, or 4-button).
2. Select the Shelly frames (1, 2, or 3-gang frame) into which the mechanisms easily snap.
3. Choose the intelligent relay module that will handle the smart magic in the background. The switches are perfectly tailored to house modules such as the Shelly 1, Shelly 1PM, the Plus 1 and Plus 1PM series, as well as the Shelly Dimmer 2, Shelly 1L, and the multi-channel input reader Shelly Plus i4.

A Brilliant Installation Mechanism

Shelly switches include special plastic mounting adapters (brackets) inside the package. These brackets allow you to securely clip your chosen Shelly module directly onto the back of the switch structure. This makes the installation highly professional and effortless, while the internal wiring inside the wall box remains much tidier and better organized. A crucial advantage is that you do not need extra-deep electrical wall boxes to install the device (a standard depth of 4.5 cm is perfectly sufficient). The body of the switch itself is virtually flat and does not protrude deep into the wall—leaving the precious space inside the box exclusively for your smart module and wiring.

Soft Touch and Feature Control

The button mechanism is designed as a momentary (push-button) switch—meaning it springs back to its original position after being pressed. It requires only a very gentle touch, with no need for a forceful push using your whole palm. It feels more like a highly satisfying, quiet "click". The interactive pressing area is located strictly on the lower half of the switch, subtly marked by a small design dot.

This momentary switching style is absolutely perfect for operating smart dimmers and RGBW modules. To turn the light on, a gentle "click" is enough, but by pressing and holding the button, you can smoothly activate the brightness dimming function.

Compatibility with Other Brands

Not using the Shelly ecosystem, but love the minimalist look of these push-buttons? No problem at all. The switches can be seamlessly wired into a circuit and used with smart modules from FIBARO, Qubino, and other brands. The only minor difference is that the included plastic rear adapter bracket naturally will not fit modules from other manufacturers. You simply tuck the third-party module deeper into the wall box on its own. Electrically, the switch functions flawlessly with any brand.
