The fourth generation of FIBARO's legendary motor controller brings massive enhancements and a completely redesigned chassis. Since its predecessors defined the market standard for years, this impressive upgrade (FGR-224) builds on a proven foundation, offering the absolute best quality, range, and functionality among Z-Wave blind and roller shutter controllers available today.

Compatible with All Traditional Motorized Shades

You install the module directly inside the wall box behind your existing physical switch. It can reliably and intelligently control almost any type of shading mechanism powered by a standard AC phase-switching motor (without built-in proprietary RF tech), such as:

• Exterior and interior venetian blinds (with precise slat tilting support)
• Electric roller shutters and day/night blinds
• Motorized awnings, pergolas, and curtain tracks
• Projection screens

Note: This module is NOT suitable for controlling proprietary motors like Somfy iO, Somfy RTS, or other motors that already have their own integrated radio electronics (i.e., those that don't use standard 4-wire AC mains control).

Extremely Compact Design & Tool-Free Installation

At the time of its release, the FIBARO Roller Shutter 4 is the smallest Z-Wave shutter module in the world, measuring just 46 x 36 x 19.9 mm. But the biggest innovation lies in the terminal block itself. It connects via modern Push-In wire terminals, meaning you don't even need a screwdriver! Furthermore, FIBARO integrated multiple bridged terminals for Phase (L) and Neutral (N) right into the module. For the installer, this eliminates the need to use annoying external Wago connectors to splice wires, saving a tremendous amount of space inside the wall box. The package even includes pre-stripped jumper wires.

Precise Calibration and Power Metering

The module performs intelligent auto-calibration by detecting the motor's mechanical or electronic limit switches. This allows your app to continuously display the exact position of the shutter in percentages (e.g., lowered to 50%). For exterior blinds with slats, it provides incredibly fine-tuned tilting control. Plus, integrated active energy consumption metering (W) keeps you fully informed of your power usage.

Z-Wave 800 Chip and Advanced Scene Triggers

Powered by the latest Z-Wave 800 series chip, the Roller Shutter 4 ensures a massive boost in communication speed and range. It also introduces an excellent new physical control feature—you can now configure a double-click of the physical wall switch to instantly move the blinds to your favorite preset position (e.g., 80% down with slats slightly tilted) without ever reaching for your smartphone.
