FIBARO Roller Shutter 3 – Z-Wave Motor Controller
Automate the shading in your home to perfection. The FIBARO Roller Shutter 3 is the new generation of the immensely popular module, now featuring the advanced Z-Wave Plus protocol. This flush-mounted micro-module installs directly behind your existing wall switch, allowing you to integrate standard 230V AC motors for roller blinds, venetian blinds, awnings, or garage doors into your Smart Home ecosystem.
Precise Positioning and Slat Tilting
The module features a precise auto-calibration process. Once connected to a motor, it learns the end limits, allowing you to set your blinds to an exact percentage (e.g., 30% open) via your smartphone. A massive advantage over competitors is its dedicated venetian blind mode. If you have blinds with adjustable slats, hubs like FIBARO and Homey will present a dedicated slider exclusively for precisely tilting the angle of the slats. Additionally, the module features active power consumption measurement.
Compatibility and Installation
You maintain full manual control using your physical wall switches (supports momentary and toggle switches) while gaining remote control via your Z-Wave gateway. It fits into standard wall junction boxes (a depth of 60mm is recommended) and is compatible with motors utilizing both mechanical and electronic limit switches.
Please Note: This module cannot be used with proprietary radio-controlled motors like Somfy RTS (it only works with standard 3-wire/4-wire 230V motors).
