The moment the device senses water pooling on the floor, it triggers an extremely loud 85 dB siren. Because the device communicates via the Zigbee 3.0 protocol to your smart home hub, it will also instantly send an emergency push notification straight to your smartphone. As an added bonus, the sensor regularly reports the ambient room temperature.

Optional Extension Probe

Need to detect leaks in extremely tight spaces, or worried that flood waters might rise so fast they short-circuit the sensor itself? This device is cleverly designed to clip into a special holder with a wired extension probe (sold separately as an accessory). You mount the holder high up on the wall and drop the sensitive measuring cable down to the floor.
