Ajax DoorProtect (Black) – Door & Window Opening Sensor

The first line of defense in your security setup is protecting entry points. The Ajax DoorProtect is a top-tier wireless magnetic detector that instantly registers unauthorized opening of doors, windows, and balconies. This stealthy black edition blends seamlessly into dark window and door frames without drawing attention.

High-End Reed Switches and Dual Magnets

The device operates using high-end, British-made reed switches that respond to magnetic fields. The package includes two magnets to accommodate any installation: a large magnet that triggers at distances up to 2 cm (perfect for thick doors), and a smaller magnet for gaps up to 1 cm (ideal for thin windows). Once the magnetic field is broken, the sensor instantly fires an alarm signal to the Ajax Hub.

Reliability and 7-Year Battery Life

The DoorProtect can also act as a wireless bridge—it features a wired NC (Normally Closed) input on the back to connect third-party wired detectors. It is fully protected by a physical tamper switch against wall removal and communicates via the encrypted Jeweller protocol. Engineered for incredible efficiency, the pre-installed CR123A battery lasts for an astonishing 7 years.
