Small but incredibly intelligent. The Aeotec AërQ is an ultra-compact temperature and humidity sensor powered by the latest Z-Wave 700 series technology. Measuring a mere 35 mm across, it is barely larger than a coin battery. This minimal footprint allows you to place it discreetly anywhere—whether behind a shelf, in a closet, or inside a bathroom.

Temperature, Humidity, and Dew Point

The sensor continuously monitors the room’s temperature (-10°C to 65°C) with an accuracy of ± 1°C, and relative humidity (0% to 80%) with an accuracy of ± 3%. Combining these two metrics, the device precisely calculates the room's dew point. This metric is crucial for determining if the air is too dry and irritating, or too humid to cool down naturally.

Advanced Mold Formation Alerts

The most unique feature of the AërQ sensor is its ability to protect your home's health. When integrated into a compatible smart home hub, the sensor analyzes the dew point and humidity trends to warn you about the potential for toxic mold spore formation. It allows you to trigger automated routines—such as instantly turning on bathroom exhaust fans or sending a push notification to open a window.
