The 2023 version of Homey PRO brings everything we knew from previous Homey generations, but faster, more powerful, and with new features. The new version of Homey introduces a design change, continuing the trend started by the Homey Bridge.

Supports everything you can think of

Homey PRO is truly the only smart home hub you'll ever need. Thanks to support for the WiFi, Z-Wave 700, and Zigbee 3.0 communication protocols, you can connect with a huge range of Smart Home products. Homey has also included a 433MHz antenna, so devices using this protocol will run smoothly too. Thanks to infrared, you can control your TV, audio system, and similar devices.
A great surprise is the future support for Matter (Q2 2023) and Thread (Q3 2023). With Homey PRO, you are ready for the future.

Absolutely amazing performance

Homey PRO (2023) features not only more powerful antennas but also upgraded hardware performance. The processor runs at 1.8GHz, which is 3.5x faster than the previous model. Double the RAM (2GB) and double the storage (8GB eMMC) compared to the previous version will surely please you as well. 

Local connection

Homey PRO (2023) hasn't changed where it matters. It is still a local Smart Home system and does not require the cloud to function. Of course, if you want to connect to Homey remotely, the internet is required, but all automation is stored locally in your home. A new feature here is the ability to connect HOMEY PRO to your network using a LAN connection. An extra Ethernet adapter must be purchased for this.

Satellite Mode - a great new feature for large systems

Homey PRO (2023) finally brings something that was previously the domain of the FIBARO system: the ability to connect multiple units into a single whole. You can place multiple Homey hubs in your home or business and use them together as one system. This significantly expands your range and possibilities. This MASTER-SLAVE configuration is possible with Homey Bridge units, where Homey PRO acts as the master and Homey Bridge as the slave.

Local backup

Yes, it's true, Homey PRO has a local backup option. You can keep a backup of your system safely at home. This avoids potential fees for cloud backups, which are however still available, run automatically, and cost only €10 per year.

Advanced Flows are now included

That's right, Advanced Flows, which give you truly advanced automation creation options and are super easy to navigate, are now included in the price. This is great news, especially since the price of the Homey PRO 2023 hasn't changed compared to the previous version. You get better performance and premium features at the same price.

Homey Script

Advanced Flows aren't enough for you and you want to do it the hard way? Then support for Homey Script and Experimental mode is great news for you. Code and create virtual devices however you like.

Your whole house in your pocket

With the free Homey app, you are always a little bit at home. Receive notifications from sensors or the doorbell, control lighting, locks, security, and heating - from anywhere in the world.

But that's not all. The redesigned Homey smartphone app makes it easy to manage and build automation in your home. Setting up scenes, managing users, creating automations - you can do it all right from the mobile app.

Web app

In 2021, Homey introduced a new web app. If you're wondering what it is, the explanation is simple. It is an app you can open via a web browser from anywhere, allowing you to easily control and configure your Homey. The app is very well designed, and new features are added every month.

Your home, your rules

Set your lights to turn off when you turn on the TV. Have your favorite music play when you get home. Shut down the whole house when you go to bed. Turn on the hallway light when someone rings the doorbell. There are no limits to creativity here.

Combining devices, music, and configuring them together is child's play with the Homey app. Everything can be easily managed.

Endless possibilities and freedom

Homey supports up to 9 wireless protocols:  Zigbee, Z-Wave, WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared, 433MHz, and 868MHz. The 2023 version additionally supports Matter and Thread. Thanks to this, it can talk to thousands of devices. Naturally, support for new devices is constantly growing, thanks in part to the open platform. 

Because Homey supports so many protocols, you have the freedom of choice and don't have to buy all your devices from a single manufacturer. This gives you the option to choose exactly the device you want - now and in the future. 

Control it the way you want

You can control your home exactly the way you want. Homey offers free apps, allowing you to control your home remotely.

Of course, today we want to control everything with our voice too. That's why Homey supports voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This lets you control any device in your home with your voice. 

Sometimes, however, the ability to simply press a button is irreplaceable. Homey supports wireless buttons and remote controls, so you can use them wherever you need them. For example, by the front door, next to the bed, or in the kitchen. Buttons allow you to create exactly the atmosphere you love.
