⚙️ Sonoff Dual R3 - Dual Relay with Motor Control

The Sonoff Dual R3 is a 2-gang smart relay switch featuring a power metering function. DUALR3 is a Wi-Fi smart dual relay module that can be installed into larger wall boxes (80mm diameter recommended) or onto a DIN rail. It can work with any standard switches, turning them into smart switches for wireless remote control via mobile devices or voice commands. Integrate your home appliances into a unified wireless network where they can communicate with each other. This allows you to manage and control lights, home appliances, and motorized devices like roller blinds and window shades.

A mounting adapter is included, which can be attached to the wall with screws or used to clip the module onto a DIN rail inside a distribution board.

The device is TUV certified, providing advanced safety and reliability without the risk of fire or overheating.

There are three working modes available: DUALR3 features switch mode, motor mode, and meter mode. One of its standout features is the smart control of roller blinds and shades in motor mode. The switch module offers maximum flexibility for your motorized window coverings via app remote control and scheduled events, whether you are at home or away.

The dual relay switch module splits the load into two outputs. This mechanism allows you to control two devices independently in both directions. Furthermore, the module has an energy monitoring function that can be used to determine the exact power consumption of connected devices. In meter mode, the load of electrical appliances connected to the DUALR3 will always remain ON, and its relay state will not change in the app or via the external switch – this mode is used solely for power tracking and measurement.

In the eWeLink app, you can manage your roller blind to open, close, and even stop at a specific desired position. The module is designed to work with various switch types: momentary (push-button) switches, rocker switches, dual momentary switches, and ON/OFF/ON switches.

By setting up a Siri shortcut in the eWeLink app, you gain the ability to control your curtains with voice commands. You can also create a smart scene to link the DUALR3 with other smart devices in your home – for example, ask Siri to close the curtains, which will automatically trigger an LED light strip, setting the perfect mood for a movie night.
