High-Performance Signal Amplifier for Long RGBW LED Strips (AP103)

If you need to power and control an exceptionally long RGB+W LED strip whose current draw far exceeds the maximum limits of your primary smart RGBW controller (such as those from popular brands like FIBARO, Shelly, or Qubino), this device is the perfect solution to prevent your smart module from burning out.

The AP103 amplifier supports both 12V and 24V LED systems. Thanks to its robust electronics, it can amplify the control signal to handle an extreme load of up to 4x 8A (a massive total of 32A). This allows you to safely string together dozens of meters of LED strips without experiencing brightness drops at the ends and without risking damage to your expensive main smart controller.

Practical Wiring Options:

• Parallel Connection After the Controller: Run a weak control signal from your primary smart RGBW module into the Signal Input" terminals of the amplifier. Next, provide clean, heavy-duty power from a robust power supply (rated up to 32A) to the "Input" terminals. You can use this same power supply (or a smaller branch of it) to power the smart module itself. Finally, connect your extra-long LED strip directly to the "Output" terminals. The amplifier intelligently ensures that the high-power output will mirror the voltage (and thus the exact color and brightness) dictated by the master smart module with 100% accuracy and zero delay.
• Series Extension of an Existing Strip: You can also install the amplifier at the very end of a long LED strip run. You simply connect a fresh, secondary power supply to the amplifier's input, and attach the continuing LED strip to the output terminals. This method completely eliminates the physical voltage drop (dimming effect) that occurs over long distances, guaranteeing uniform brightness across the entire length of the installation.

Important Installation Note: The amplifier itself does not feature any wireless (Z-Wave / Wi-Fi) connectivity. To function, it must be paired with a corresponding "master" RGBW controller and an appropriately wattage-rated LED power supply.
