Nuki Door Sensor – Absolute Peace of Mind

With a Nuki Smart Lock, you no longer need a physical key. However, the lock itself can only register whether the cylinder bolt is turned to the "locked" position. But what if a gust of wind prevented the door from actually closing, and the lock locked itself while wide open? The Nuki Door Sensor elegantly solves this problem, giving you complete peace of mind while you are at work or on vacation.

This smart Bluetooth sensor constantly monitors the physical state of your door. In combination with the Nuki app, it instantly shows you whether your door is securely shut, as well as whether it is locked or unlocked.

Smart Notifications on Your Phone

You can configure practical notifications within the app to alert you of any status changes. For instance, you can receive a quick ping to let you know your kids arrived home safely from school. Furthermore, the system will proactively send a warning alert to your smartphone if it detects that:

• The door has been physically left open longer than a pre-defined time (e.g., 5 minutes).
• You are attempting to lock the door (via Auto Lock, the app, or a fob) when the door panel itself is not physically resting in the door frame.

Simple and Fast Installation

Like all Nuki products, the Door Sensor is designed for an incredibly easy, do-it-yourself installation that takes mere seconds. The discreet, white-colored device simply sticks to your door panel and frame using the pre-applied heavy-duty adhesive. The free Nuki app will guide you step-by-step through the quick calibration process.

Note: This door sensor operates exclusively as an add-on accessory. It strictly requires a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 or Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro to function. It cannot be used as a standalone third-party alarm sensor.
