This advanced device constantly monitors the climate in your home—tracking temperature, humidity levels, and the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are invisible chemical particles emitted from furniture, cleaning supplies, sprays, or cooking.

Mold Prevention and a Healthier Environment

If the levels of pollutants or humidity rise above a safe threshold, the sensor sends an instant push notification to your smart home app. Additionally, accurate analysis of the temperature-to-humidity ratio allows the system to warn you about the impending risk of mold growth. You can also integrate the sensor into smart routines—for instance, if VOC levels spike, your smart hub can automatically turn on your home’s heat recovery ventilation system (HRV).

This sensor operates on the highly stable Zigbee 3.0 protocol and is natively compatible with leading smart hubs like Homey and the Aeotec SmartThings Hub.
