The Aqara Smart Lock U200 Lite Kit is the more affordable, streamlined version of their flagship lock. This specific bundle does not include the exterior wireless keypad. Instead, it relies on smartphone unlocking and the included NFC smart stickers.

Important Note: This is the Lite edition (Model EL-D03D). The external fingerprint keypad is not included in the box. Because it lacks the NFC hardware found inside the keypad, this Lite version does NOT support the Apple HomeKey feature.

How Does Unlocking Work in Practice?

The interior motorized unit installs over your existing door cylinder exactly the same way as the full U200 kit. You gain excellent daily convenience:

• App and Bluetooth: Unlock the door with a single tap inside the Aqara app on your smartphone as you approach.
• NFC Stickers (Included in box): The Lite kit comes with smart NFC stickers. You can stick these outside your door frame. When you tap your unlocked smartphone against the sticker, it triggers an automation to command the lock to open.
• Global Remote Access: When paired with a Thread Border Router (like the Aqara Hub M3), you can monitor the lock's status and let guests in remotely from anywhere in the world.
• Voice Assistants: Ask Siri or Amazon Alexa to lock the front door when you go to bed.

Massive Battery Life and Matter Support

Housed inside the motorized unit is a heavy-duty, 2000 mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack. Thanks to the highly efficient Thread network protocol (and the lack of an external keypad draining power), the lock can easily operate for an entire 6 months on a single charge. When depleted, simply recharge it using a standard USB-C cable. Utilizing a built-in gyroscope, the lock knows when the door is closed and can automatically and silently engage the deadbolt behind you. Native support for Matter over Thread ensures this device is future-proofed for any smart home ecosystem.

Installation Rules and Box Contents:

• The box includes the Aqara Smart Lock U200 Lite motor, the rechargeable battery, 2x NFC stickers, a set of cylinder adapters, and an interchangeable black faceplate cover.
• Mandatory Requirement: Your existing door cylinder lock MUST have a Dual-Entry (Emergency BSZ) function. This means that even with a key permanently inserted on the inside under the smart lock, it must be possible to insert a second key from the outside to mechanically unlock the door.
