Ajax ocBridge Plus – Receiver Integration Module

Do you already have a traditional hardwired alarm system installed, but want to upgrade it with cutting-edge wireless sensors? The Ajax ocBridge Plus is a sophisticated receiver module designed to transform any third-party wired or hybrid security panel into a smart wireless network. It acts as a bridge, allowing your old system to communicate with up to 100 wireless Ajax detectors.

How it Works & Installation

The module is typically installed directly inside the housing of your existing wired central unit or an adjacent plastic junction box. When a wireless Ajax detector is triggered, the ocBridge Plus registers the event and instantly closes or opens its transistor outputs. Your wired control panel reads this output state change and triggers the standard alarm sirens.

Jeweller Technology and PC Configuration

The device operates on the heavily encrypted Jeweller protocol, providing a massive wireless range of up to 2,000 meters in an open space. It actively monitors for radio interference (jamming) and features anti-sabotage protection. Initial setup and zone testing are performed easily using a Windows PC configuration tool via a miniUSB connection.
