Ajax GlassProtect (Black) – Glass Break Detector

Never leave your windows or glass displays vulnerable. The Ajax GlassProtect is a miniature wireless detector designed to flawlessly recognize the sound of shattering glass. It can be mounted anywhere in a room up to 9 meters away from the window. Its sleek black design is perfect for darker window frames and industrial interiors.

Two-Factor Acoustic Filtration

Say goodbye to false alarms triggered by barking dogs, loud thunderstorms, or passing trucks. The device uses an advanced electret microphone combined with a two-factor detection algorithm. First, the microphone must detect a low-frequency dull impact (the glass being hit). Then, it must immediately detect a high-frequency crashing sound (the glass shattering). Only when both criteria are met will the alarm sound.

High Security and External Inputs

Aside from acoustic monitoring, the GlassProtect features a wired input (NC) allowing you to connect a third-party wired door/window contact to monitor if the window is pried open. It communicates with the Ajax Hub using the Jeweller protocol over an impressive range of up to 1,000 meters. The sensor is tamper-protected, and the pre-installed battery offers an outstanding life of up to 7 years.
