External Probe Leak Detection

The main processing unit is designed to be mounted high up on a wall, safely away from any potential flood zones. Water detection is handled by a highly sensitive stainless-steel probe on a 1.5-meter long wire that rests on the floor next to your boiler, bathtub, or washing machine. The probe registers leaks with as little as 0.5 mm of water. By pairing it with a Z-Wave motorized valve controller, your smart home can automatically shut off the mains water supply the moment a leak is spotted.

Temperature, Humidity, and aërQ Mold Analysis

Beyond leak protection, the unit tracks room temperature with ± 1°C accuracy (ranging from -10 to 65°C), making it an excellent thermostat reference for bathroom underfloor heating. It also measures relative humidity. Thanks to Aeotec’s built-in aërQ technology, the sensor mathematically calculates the risk of mold formation in the room, sending alerts to your phone to ventilate the area or automatically triggering bathroom exhaust fans.
