The Sonoff M5 SwitchMan ZBM5-2C-80W is a smart light switch supporting the Zigbee 3.0 protocol with a 2-gang (circuit) setup, making it the ideal solution for smart control of home lighting and other electrical devices. Designed to adapt to your home's wiring, the ZBM5 is easy to connect and use, whether a neutral wire is available or not.

The ZB-M5-2C-80W switch also has an 86 mm standalone (non-modular) version, available under the model designation ZBM5-2C-86W, also available in our e-shop.

The switch supports wiring with live and neutral wires, as well as live-only wiring (no neutral wire), making it flexible for various electrical networks. The M5 SwitchMan features physical buttons that allow manual wall control, just like a traditional switch. Its maximum load capacity is 10A, which is sufficient for controlling most home lighting fixtures and smaller electrical appliances.

This modular version with an 80 mm width can be installed into double, triple, or quadruple Sonoff M5-80 modular frames, which are available separately in our online store.

Zigbee Hub Compatibility

It is compatible with Sonoff Zigbee gateways, such as the SONOFF NSPanel Pro, iHost, ZB Bridge-P/U, and ZBDongle-E/P, for seamless smart home control and, in this case, with the eWeLink app. It also supports integration via Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA, allowing easy incorporation into Home Assistant systems. This high-quality smart switch from Sonoff is compatible with many other Zigbee 3.0 hubs, including SmartThings.

Feature Overview

Detach Relay Mode 

With this feature, you can continue to remotely control your smart devices via "Smart Scenes" even when the physical switch is turned off. With detach relay mode enabled, smart lights do not lose power when the wall switch is turned off, allowing them to remain smart at all times.

*The device must be added to a compatible SONOFF hub, and once the third-party account is linked in the eWeLink app, voice control via a smart speaker will be enabled.

Wiring 

*The terminals and wiring diagram are identical for both the 80 and 86 switch versions.

*Upon initial power-on, the wiring is automatically identified and switched to the corresponding mode. For information on subsequent wiring mode changes, please refer to the user manual.
