Recessed Ceiling Mount for FIBARO and Philio (Square)
This unique Philio bracket allows for the elegant, recessed mounting of the "eye" of your motion sensor directly into a plasterboard/drywall ceiling. From an interior design perspective, this is a massive improvement, as the bulky body of the sensor is hidden within the ceiling, leaving only the minimal motion lens exposed to the room below.
The bracket is spatially calibrated so that both the Philio Motion Sensor and the famous FIBARO Motion Sensor fit tightly and perfectly down to the millimeter. This specific model features a modern square front design to blend effortlessly with sharp, contemporary interior lighting fixtures.
The recessor holds the sensor absolutely secure, but if you need to remove the sensor (for instance, to replace its battery), taking it out is very quick. The installation into plasterboard is identical in principle to installing standard recessed spotlights, utilizing strong fold-out spring clips.
