With its distinct spherical "eye" shape, the Philio motion sensor is a fantastic addition to your smart home security setup. This Z-Wave sensor reliably detects human movement at a range of up to 12 meters.

Thanks to its high IP43 protection rating (splash-resistant), this sensor is safely deployable in outdoor environments (e.g., under terrace roofs, carports, or entryways).

Unique Magnetic Bracket and Field-of-View Blindfold

In this specific kit, the sensor is installed using an extremely practical hemispherical magnetic mount. You simply screw or stick the base to the wall, and the round sensor body magnetically snaps firmly into place. This allows you to freely pivot and aim the sensor exactly where you want coverage. When it's time to replace the battery, you just pull the sensor right off the magnet.

The second massive advantage of this model is the inclusion of a plastic lens blindfold (shield). By attaching this cover over the lens, you mechanically block a portion of the sensor's field of view.
