Potential-Free Switches for Smart Home
Potential-free touch switches (dry contact) are designed for situations where a voltage-free output is required for switching. These switches do not control the light source directly but send a clean state change to an external smart module (e.g., FIBARO, Loxone, TapHome), which then controls the light. Like all LIVOLO switches, the potential-free models boast a beautiful glass design and a highly responsive touch surface.
The output contact can handle a load of up to 1000W. Because it provides dry contact switching, you can use it to switch circuits operating at 12V, 24V, 115V, or 230V.
This specific switch maintains its state (On/Off) upon pressing. It does not act merely as a push button (impulse).
System Compatibility:
- FIBARO Relays, Dimmers, and other Z-Wave modules (the switch itself requires a stable 12/24V DC power supply).
- LOXONE – 24V switching systems (switch requires 24V DC power; output contacts switch the system voltage).
- All other 12/24V smart home systems supporting standard Type 5 dual switches.
