The Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition is the first hardware voice assistant designed specifically for seamless integration with the local Home Assistant (Nabu Casa) ecosystem. It combines an open-source approach, cutting-edge audio processing, and an elegant design focused on absolute privacy protection.

Cutting-Edge Audio Processing

The device is equipped with dual noise-canceling microphones and a dedicated XMOS XU316 audio processor, ensuring your voice commands are captured with absolute clarity. The top features a multi-colored LED ring that acts as both an indicator that the assistant is listening and a beautiful design element. It has a built-in speaker, plus a 3.5mm jack for connection to an external Hi-Fi system.

Privacy First

This assistant operates locally on your network. When you don't want the device to listen, you simply push a physical hardware button to completely cut the power to the microphones.

For fully local voice processing, it is highly recommended to run a Home Assistant server powered by an Intel N100 CPU or higher. Otherwise, utilizing the Nabu Casa cloud service is required.
