DoorBird A1121 – IP Access Control (Surface Mount)

The DoorBird A1121 is a premium, highly compact multi-technology IP access control system. It is engineered to secure doors and garages in locations where installing a full-sized video intercom with a camera is either unnecessary or impractical—such as side doors, underground garage gates, driveway pillars, elevators, or hotel annexes.

This specific model (Surface Mount) is designed for a seamless on-wall installation, perfect for situations where cutting a hole into the facade is impossible. The magnificent casing and front panel are crafted from thick brushed stainless steel, guaranteeing not only a prestigious appearance but also extreme resistance to vandalism and harsh weather conditions (IP65 Certified).

Multiple Ways to Open Your Door

This single standalone device combines 3 distinct hardware access technologies (and requires no separate indoor control unit, as everything is processed onboard the A1121):

• 125 KHz RFID Reader: For traditional key fobs and generic chips.
• 13.56 MHz RFID Reader: Supports encrypted modern access cards and NFC chips.
• Illuminated Keypad: Entry via numeric PIN codes. All buttons are beautifully backlit for effortless orientation in total darkness.
• Bluetooth (BLE): Hardware fully integrated (to be activated via a future free software update).

Smart Schedules and API Integration

You can connect the device to your network via WiFi (2.4 GHz) or a standard Ethernet cable supporting PoE (Power over Ethernet). Through the DoorBird mobile app, you can generate dozens of access codes and specify exact timeframes for when they work. You can give the mailman a code that only opens the gate on weekdays between 8 AM and 2 PM, or assign temporary one-time PINs for Airbnb guests. The keypad features 2 built-in relays, allowing you to open the pedestrian door with one code and trigger the garage door with another. Thanks to its open HTTP API, you can easily integrate the panel into smart home systems like Loxone or FIBARO.
