Integration of the Weathercloud.net weather station into the FIBARO system

This app allows you to integrate a weather station that uses the WeatherCloud.net platform into the FIBARO system. Integration is available for all FIBARO HC3/HC3L/Yubii home control units.

This application connects to the Weather Cloud API at the set time interval and downloads information from the weather station linked to your account. This information can come from the SENCOR SWS12500 WiFi weather station, or any other weather station supporting the WeatherCloud.net service.

Setting up the QA itself is very simple. Just enter your WeatherCloud login credentials and set the data fetch interval in seconds in the QA variable settings. The data will immediately start downloading.

The WeatherCloud.net service has a free tier set up so that data from the weather station is fetched every 10 minutes. If you only have the free version of this service, data to the FIBARO system will also be downloaded at this interval, even if the setting is lower. For faster data downloading, you need to subscribe to the WeatherCloud service, where a monthly subscription for €5 gives you a 1-minute fetch interval. This interval will then also work in the FIBARO system.

From the provided data, you can read not only the wind speed but also the temperature, pressure, wind direction, gust strength, perceived temperature, rainfall volume, UV index, and current solar energy output.

How to order QA:

After ordering this product, you need to send us the serial number of the control unit on which you want to use the given QA. Please send us this serial number as a reply to the order confirmation email. We will then send you a file within a few hours, the integration of which will add the given devices to your control unit.
