    FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 (Z-Wave Plus)

    The FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 is an advanced wireless magnetic contact sensor compatible with the Z-Wave Plus protocol. This compact sensor is a fundamental building block for the security and automation of any smart home. As soon as the magnet is separated from the main sensor body (indicating an open door or window), the device instantly beams a signal to your smart home hub (e.g., Home Center 3, Homey, SmartThings).

    Installing this sensor in your home radically increases comfort while saving money:

    • Security (Alarm System): Receive instant push notifications if someone attempts to break into your house through a window, main door, garage, or skylight. The sensor also features a built-in Tamper switch to detect unauthorized removal or opening of its casing.
    • Energy Savings: Link the sensor with your smart heating. If you leave a window open in winter, the smart hub will automatically shut off the radiator or underfloor heating in that specific room to prevent energy waste.
    • Triggering Scenes: Opening the front door can automatically turn on the hallway lights to welcome you home.

    Built-in Temperature Sensor

    Unlike the first generation (which required you to purchase and manually wire in a separate DS18B20 temperature probe), the 2nd generation FIBARO Sensor features a fully integrated digital temperature sensor built right onto the circuit board. It accurately measures the ambient room temperature directly from the door or window frame, providing valuable data for your thermostats and AC units.

    Compact Design and Installation

    The second generation is overall smaller and features a much sleeker, rounded design. Installation is incredibly simple—no screws required. Just stick the sensor and the magnet to the desired location using the strong double-sided tape provided in the box. The device is powered by a slim battery (ER14250), ensuring long-lasting and flawless operation.

    Senzor som použil na to načo má slúžiť. Detekuje dobre otváranie a zatváranie dverí. Pridanie do Homey išlo bez problémov. Uvidíme ako dlho vydrží batéria v ňom.

    1. Magnet v baleni je miniaturny , preto ta vzdialenost od haloveho snimaca. Maly magnetik ma male magneticke pole. V podstate mozete pouzit akykolvek magnet , je to na Vas ako diskretne si to dokazete spravit. Ak potrebujete vacsiu tolenranciu , pouzite vacsi magnet. Ja som pouzil prilozeni magnet od Aeotec 7Pro a funguje s vacsou toleranciu. 2. Dverovy snimac , ak odklipnete vrchnu cast , na obidvoch koncoch su dve male dierky na sroby , tipujem na 2mm max. 3. Ak dverovy snimac nebodaj odlepite a uz prestane povrch chytat , tak pouzite akukolvek obostrannu transparentnu pasku (3M,Debbex,TESA). Dostat vsade. Ak to chcete super original tak 3M ma VHB radu s nekonecnym mnozstvom moznosti v roznych hrubkach a si vystrihnete kus aky potrebujete. 4. Funguje spolahlivo v HC3 , narozdiel od Aeotec 7Pro hoci je premakanejsi maju ale bug vo FW a nehlasi Closed/Open spolahlivo a cez HC sa neda upgradnut firmware. Fibaro ale funguje na 100%. 5. Ma sice meranie teploty okolia , ale nema napriklad TILT , senzor naklonu ako Aeotec 7Pro a pripojenie externeho senzora na svorkovnicu. Ale budiz , spolahlivost je dolezitejsia , co je dolezitejsie niekedy ako funkcie , hlavne ked ide o garazove dvere a dvere do bytu alebo domu. Taktiez nie je mozne ho externe napajat 3.3V nema nato svorkovnicu , ale da sa to vyriesit ,pripajkovanym kablika na kontakty baterky. :)

    Senzor je velmi problematicky. Tie dve casti musia byt dokonale blizko seba a aj 1mm navyse moze byt problem co sa samozrejme pri otvarani aj deje a potom to treba napravat.

    Samptný senzor funguje, ako má, avšak pripevnenie senzora na fix je takmer nemožné. Zadné straný sú síce vybavené silno lepiacim pásikom, ale pri zavedení do chodu sa s tým treba hrať, a ak netrafíte na miimetre presne kde to má byť, potom sa so senzorom ťažko pohnete. Musíte velkou silou odtrhnúť od miesta, aby ste o milimeter posunuli, a mne sa už dvakrát stalo že sa tá lepiaca časť doničila, a nemohol som senzor potom prichitiť. Neni možnosť manuálneho prichitenia, teda povedzme šrôbikom..Pri terasových dverách sa mi podarilo na prvý rozbeh trafiť presné miesto, a tak to pekne začalo fungovať, no po niekoľkých týždňoch sa kvôli otváraniu zatváraniu dverí senzor posunul asi o pol milimetra, a prestal fungovať. Ručne som ho zase posunul (silou) o pol milimetra, a zase funguje, ale po určitom čase pri búchaní dverami počítajte s posunom senzora, a týmpádom aj s nefunkčnosťou. Samotný senzor hodnotím veľmi pozitívne, avšak použitie v reálnom živote na dverách je neoptimálne. Ak by nám umožnili akosi prišrobovať na rám, aby sa neposúval,...možno..ale takto nie.. Takisto nezabudnite, že pracuje na báze magnetov, teda akonáhle máte kov na blízku, to fungovať nebude...
